Privacy policy

This policy describes how the current SellerMargin Tools site handles data. Effective October 27, 2026.

Calculator inputs remain on your device

Values you type into the calculators are processed by JavaScript in your browser. The application does not send those values to a server, put them into page URLs, save them in cookies or store them in local storage. Reloading a tool restores its example values. Avoid entering personal information into numeric fields.

Hosting and connection information

Cloudflare Pages delivers this site. Loading a page or asset necessarily sends connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, time of request and browser headers to the hosting provider. Cloudflare may process request and security information to operate and protect its services. SellerMargin Tools does not promise that hosting requests are anonymous or that provider logs are never retained. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices, purposes and contact information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising today

The application does not set cookies or browser storage, run analytics tags, display ad-network code or use calculator values for advertising. Infrastructure security services may process technical data under the hosting provider’s policies. This site has not activated Google AdSense. The Google site-verification meta tag proves site control; it is not an advertising or analytics script.

External links

Links to another website take you to that provider, which may process your connection information under its own policy. External sites do not receive calculator inputs from a site integration because no such integration is implemented. The site uses a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy.

Privacy choices and requests

Because calculator inputs are not stored by this application, SellerMargin Tools has no saved calculator history to retrieve or erase. You can clear the visible inputs or reload a page. This does not remove any connection records independently held by the hosting provider. For information about those records and privacy rights, consult the provider policy linked above. A verified public project inbox has not yet been provided; no email address or contact form is represented as operational.

If advertising is introduced later

Advertising is not enabled by this policy. Before adding it, this policy must be updated to describe the actual vendors, purposes, identifiers, data sharing and choices. Google advertising products can use cookies and other identifiers, and personalized advertising may rely on visits across websites. Required consent and opt-out controls must be implemented and tested before relevant advertising requests occur.

For personalized ads to visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Applicable US state requirements also need review, including choices about targeted advertising or sale/sharing and recognized opt-out signals. Targeting US visitors does not by itself limit who can visit a public site. See Google’s CMP requirements and US state privacy messages.

Policy updates

The effective date above identifies this version. Data-processing changes should be reflected here before the new processing begins. This policy describes current functionality and does not assert universal compliance with every jurisdiction.
